Founded in 1894, Humboldt Park Health (formerly know as Norwegian American Hospital) has been a leader in holistic, culturally competent care, dedicated to serving our diverse community. As a nonprofit safety-net hospital, we provide compassionate care to all, regardless of ability to pay, addressing social determinants of health. Serving over 600,000 individuals, we strive to improve health outcomes and promote equity in Chicago. In January, we proudly opened our new Wellness Center, offering affordable health services like exercise, rehabilitation, and education—made possible by the generosity of our supporters.
